Please read 2 Samuel 12:26-31, 1 Chronicles 20:2-3, 2 Samuel 13, and 2 Samuel 14. Head on back and let’s chat! What stands out to you today?

Restoration is one of my favorite things that the Lord does! In His great compassion, He always wants the exile back.
“Water spilled on the ground can’t be gathered up again. But God does not take away life. He works out ways to get the exile back” (2 Samuel 14:14 MSG)
Think of His great wisdom too – God sees value in the one that has strayed (where man might just say “good riddance” or just let them go). His thoughts are higher than our thoughts! Thank You, Lord, for always welcoming us home and working out ways to get us back!

2 Samuel 14:14 captured me as well. As a man I can understand the fury and revengeful thought that had to come to mind. One could say David could relate for what he also did. But what we fail to realize at times is there is one true Judge that we bring our sins to and repent. As a new believer I can say guilt can separate you to the point where you stay away from church or people who are close to GOD because you do not feel worthy of being in the Lords presence. I also want to say thank you, Lord, for Never Giving Up On Me. I feel renewed these days and want to stay in your presence always. Keep my path lit so I don’t get lost.
