Powering through the Proverbs! This morning we are reading 20, 21, and 22:1-16. What stands out you today?

If you know me, you know I like any verse or advice that deals with planning ahead! That is music to my type-A ears!
“A farmer too lazy to plant in the spring
has nothing to harvest in the fall” (Proverbs 20:4 MSG)
Another favorite proverb:
“Knowing what is right is like deep water in the heart;
a wise person draws from the well within” (Proverbs 20:5 MSG)
The “well within” is the Holy Spirit, an inner knowing, a quiet knowing of what is right and wrong. A deep well is dug over time – little by little, shovel by shovel, depending on what you can lift. To become a deep well spiritually takes time and discipline – and that’s a worthy use of our time!
